Viterbo – The historic Caffè Grandori launches the latest challenge with internally produced croissants and merging of local producers. At its two offices in Piazza della Rocca and Via Romiti, customers are accompanied by the quality of breakfast until Happy Hour in the late afternoon, a meeting that is now known throughout the province.

0 KM CORNETTI OF OWN PRODUCTION AND QUALITY NETWORK FOR LOCAL PRODUCERS

A few months ago, Grandori created own patisserie to have control over a production that does not involve the use of any semi-finished product and that takes place with 36 hours of fermentation. Each croissant is processed exclusively with butter, with the exception of the vegan processing which takes place with high-quality margarine plus Tuscia oil..

The second step is was the creation of a network of companies farmers and suppliers of Tuscia. This is how Grandori’s 0 km croissant was born!

For the strictly local raw materials used, we mention, among other things:
The small craft cheese shop from Viterbo for the sheep ricotta;
Molino profiles of Viterbo for the flour;
San Bartolomeo Agricultural Company of Viterbo for organic eggs;
Pini farm of Carbognano for hazelnut-based products;
Beekeeping Giustiniano Manfredini Soc.Agricola SS of Viterbo for Millefioridella Tuscia honey
Raspberries from the Cimini Mountains to the raspberry jam.
