Emanuele Pesaresi remembers the last years of football in Sampdoria, from the relationships with Roberto Mancini, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Vujadin Boskov, to his new career in the coffee world

Emanuele Pesaresiformer defender of Sampdoria, hung up his boots in 2012 and has really changed careers since then. Now he actually leads – together with other partners – K-All of Ancona, his hometown, a company that distributes coffee.

We are a small company, we focus a lot on individuals and families. We rely a lot on word of mouth at the door a friend. We have 370 customers and we order 250 waffle boxes every month

He told it in the interview that was granted Sports week where he went back to his own stages adventure in football. A world that has never abandoned:

I spend the afternoons on my Recanatese. I train the Juniors and from Tuesday to Sunday you can always find me on the pitch

In the interview, Emanuele Pesaresi recalls the years spent in Sampdoria, especially with Roberto Mancini, who was later found in Lazio:

He’s a smoker, just like me. I remember that after an assist in the match against Udinese, instead of coming towards me to thank me, he insulted me. I did not get it, he was and is like that. I heard it after the victory of the Europeans. And to remember that only two years earlier I had been with him in Coverciano to steal tricks

During his time in Sampdoria, he also met the Serbian duo, Vujadin Boskov on the bench e Sinisa Mihajlovic as a teammate:

When they talked to each other in the dressing room, they did not understand anything. Everyone thought the coach’s way of playing was ancient but he won a lot. I remember that the training with him was only in the morning, all afternoons were free

Sinisa was the trusted man Vujadin. Two years ago I went to him in Casteldebole and we had lunch together. I also played with him in Lazio even though I found them some space since Dino Zoff took over after Sven-Göran Eriksson

There is room in the interview with Sports weekalso for the rediscovered love of football which after the choice to retire seemed to have waned:

I found the enthusiasm again when Marco Lelli wanted me in his staff in Ancona. In the future I see myself as a coach, I have the UEFA B license and as soon as there is time I will also take it A
