It is one of the Italians’ most loved drinks, coffee. In some cases, however, it should absolutely be discontinued: that’s when you shouldn’t drink it
For many, the day doesn’t start until you drink the coffee: long, slender, bitter or spotted. It doesn’t matter how, it doesn’t matter if it’s cold or hot: the important thing is that it’s there. The drink is a real cornerstone of the Italian diet, a fundamental part of the culinary culture it is also an opportunity for meeting and conviviality.
But only the coffee, it can be an enemy to health and well-being. In fact, in a specific situation, it should absolutely be discontinued: that is when it should not be drunk.
Coffee, don’t drink it if you have canker sores
The substance that makes coffee so popular is caffeine. According to the WHO, the safe dose of caffeine in a daily diet is 300 g: approximately the amount found in three cups of coffee. When it comes to security, coffee is a safe drink at the level of the organism. However, there are some situations where it would be good to reduce the amount ingested if not actually stop this habit.
This affects everyone pathological situations in the stomach and in the gut, against which caffeine can be a derogatory ingredient. That is why ulcers, gastritis, reflux andhypercholesterolemia. Even during pregnancy, no more than two cups of coffee should be drunk per day, as in hypertension and cardiac arrhythmias.
A situation where coffee should be discontinued is when it is off canker sores in the mouth, often underestimated and not treated properly. These are small cuts that form at the base of the gums and on soft tissues in the mouth. They are very annoying and can cause pain, make feeding or just talking difficult.
They usually show up with a round or oval shape: inside they are white while the edge is red. There are several types: some they go away by themselves within about ten days while others, much more painful, may last even two months and can leave scars. If you notice that you have canker sores in your mouth, you must first try don’t bite them with your teeth and not to scratch them with any device.
Second, they must be eliminated from the diet any irritating foods, which can make them worse. Among them are chocolate, cheese and all spicy foods, but there are also loved the coffee: reducing it until the canker sores disappear will not only relieve the pain, but will also help their healing.
