The recipe for these cakes is very easy to prepare. With just a few steps, you make crispy biscuits, simple but delicious at the same time.

The ingredients for making these cakes that are perfect for dipping in a hot beverage are:

  • 360 – 380 grams of flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 100 ml of vegetable oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt


Put eggs, salt, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl. Then we start mixing with the help of a hand whisk after adding vegetable oil. When the mixture looks smooth, pour in half of the flour listed in the list, previously sifted, and the baking powder. We integrate the powders with a spatula and work until a compact mass is created.

Then add the rest of the sifted flour and knead vigorously, with your hands, until you get a soft dough.

Then we transfer the dough to a work table and roll it out with a rolling pin until you get a thin dough. With a pastry cutting wheel, we eliminate excess edges and create a perfect rectangle (or the shape you prefer). From this large rectangle we get, again with our wheel, 15 rectangular biscuits. At this point, place them on a sheet lined with parchment paper.

To make them perfect, to dip them in a cup with our favorite hot liquid, we stick the surface with a toothpick. The ideal would be to make 8 small holes for each cake.

We bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
